Our front baby carrier system is designed to carry baby in a natural position on your chest. Carrying your baby at the center of your body, rather than on the side, is better for your spine and hips because the weight is evenly distributed on both your hips.

The Shoulder Harness clips in front at your chest like a vest, which is then easily adjusted to a proper fit. Your baby will be carried in the best place against your chest. This will increase the support for your baby and also support your back by reducing the shift in your center of gravity. Much of your baby's weight will be distributed across your shoulders, and some will be taken on your chest as the carrier holds your baby close to you.
The harness straps are wide and comfortable with the widest part at your shoulders. This distributes weight over a larger area and makes baby carrying more comfortable.

The Okkatots front baby carrier cradles your baby's head. Straps come over your baby's shoulders and attach to the pouch on either side of the baby's head, bringing the baby's head and body close to your body. This provides the following benefits :
■ The straps and pouch form a circle of support so that baby's head has lateral as well as back support and allows a young baby's head rest on the parent's chest.
■ This helps keep baby securely in the pouch if the parent bends to reach for an escaping toddler's arm
■ Holding your baby close also minimizes the shift in your center of gravity, reducing back strain.

The new and unique Okkatots Waistband attaches to the carrier and shifts your baby's weight from your shoulders to your hips. It also brings your baby closer to your body's center of gravity.Thick wide pads distribute the weight evenly on your hips.
The waistband is great for those who carry a baby for longer periods of time, or when their baby gets too heavy for shoulders alone. The waistband also provides your baby with a wider seat, both when facing in towards you and when facing out.
The baby carrier can be used with or without the waistband. You choose the support you need.

Babies grow fast in their first months of life. Keeping up with that growth can be a challenge. The Okkatots front baby carrier system has a separate fitted pouch that adjusts two ways to fit your growing baby. When contracted for a tiny baby there is even more support around your little one's back. Fingerlike folds wrap around your baby's back, increasing support. The Okkatots front baby carrier system is designed to give baby a wider seat than most popular types of carriers. As your baby grows, the seat expands with your baby. Straddling baby's legs is just fine for the health of your baby's hips.
When the pouch part of the Okkatots front baby carrier system is used in a shopping cart your baby is supported as the cart moves and turns. It's great for when your baby is learning to sit. The pouch also provides your baby with a padded seat and back.
Babies and little children should never be left unattended in a cart or on a chair
